It seems perhaps a small thing, a trivial matter, but it is not! It is the small seed from whence great oaks shall grow."—excerpted from "Soulic Liberation" WORLD PEACE BEGINS WITH YOU! In response to the threat of war in Iraq, an unprecedented number of people participated in antiwar demonstrations around the globe, proclaiming their desire for world peace. But ultimately, how will world peace become a reality in our lifetime with the present state of affairs on this planet? Each one of us holds the key to a world united in brotherly love, as you will discover when you read the following excerpt from an address given by Uriel (cofounder of Unarius) at World Peace Day on October 25, 1986. This event was held in San Diego, California, at the Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. Uriel's words are timelier than ever. "Many, many thousands of years ago we Space Brothers set this movement of peace in motion. It has not grown and moved about to this world nearly as rapidly as it shall in the future. This time just now, the seventh cycle of the recessional, has been brought in, and you will see many wonderful, positive things happening in the future, in the very near future, for we are now in a positive ongoing age. . . . This peace movement must be more than just a city, state, or county affair. It must become a world event. What would we benefit were we to achieve American peace if the whole world was not at peace, if some of the other countries were still at war? Because those energies and frequencies would oscillate throughout the world, so we are striving for and we shall have world peace. "So beloved ones share with me the joy that we have this day which is very significant because it is setting in motion, to the entire world, this meaning of peace, of world peace. . . . There is but one way to achieve and maintain total and lasting peace, which is for every soul to realize that each and every one of you are involved. You are a member of this earth, which would make you involved. You are either being an aid in a positive way or pushing in a negative way. So let us all, each and every one, now start to watch our thoughts so that we can begin to express only positive thoughts out to the world. You would be surprised if you could see how far your thoughts really travel. Every thought expressed does not die or cease to exist after it is thought, but it regenerates on and on and on. "So for each one, will you say with me please, 'Let there be peace on Earth throughout the world and let it begin with me!'" This teaching scientifically explains the boomerang effect of thoughts—how both negative and positive thoughts return to the sender. ================================================= REAWAKENING TO SPIRIT For those who participated in the events on February 15 and 16, 2003, to celebrate the 49th Anniversary of Unarius, it was truly a "Reawakening to Spirit." The energies continued to build throughout the weekend, culminating in the anniversary banquet on Sunday evening. All who attended the banquet were lifted in consciousness by the high-frequency love energies projected by the Unarius Brothers. It was evident that this gathering was but a physical expression of a grand celebration that was taking place on the higher celestial worlds in honor of Raphiel and Uriel—the very advanced spiritual beings who overshadowed Ernest and Ruth Norman—for their tremendous accomplishment of successfully initiating a new renaissance of spirit on Earth. Creative expressions of poetry, music, art, and video were presented throughout the evening, as well as words of appreciation for the tremendous help and love students had received from the Unarius Brothers. The Musical Tribute to Spirit featured vocal and instrumental solos, and several songs performed in four-part harmony by the Unarius choral group, And the Angels Sing. The harmonies of the choralliers were complemented by the superb piano accompaniment of a Unariun who traveled from St. Paul, Minnesota be a part of the anniversary weekend. This Celebration of Light concluded with the magnificent Ceremony of the Inner Flame, a joining of the higher consciousness of each one with our spiritual teachers on the inner worlds. * * * For me, one of the highlights at the 49th Anniversary of Unarius was during the performance of "Song of India" by And the Angels Sing. The moment their voices started harmonizing, I was immediately transcended and lifted in consciousness—it was so-o-o beautiful and melodious. There were only eight voices (six female and two male), but it sounded like hundreds of voices. Tears streamed down my face as they are now, for writing this has reattuned me back to the experience. I had my eyes closed, thoroughly enjoying the music, when, to my surprise, I saw a war zone projected in my inner vision. The scene was of a primitive time, where sticks and clubs were the weapons of choice. Then I saw the aftermath, the souls of the "dead" soldiers lifted from their bodies to be helped and healed by angelic beings. Another war scene came into consciousness, of pointed wooden swords and spears; then another lifetime with metal swords and spears, and another with cannons and muskets, on up to the present. Scene after scene flashed into my consciousness, as I saw men being lifted off the battlefield and up to higher realms for healing and psychic adjustments. There was no doubt as to why I was seeing these visions. I was being shown my past lifetimes of war, destruction, and devastation, of hate and revenge. Then, I saw myself standing upon a hillside in a full soldier outfit, weapon in hand over my head—victory at last. Not quite! The victory came after hearing and accepting the following words: "How can you accept and get along with your Space Brothers, your extended family of man, if you can't even live in peace with your fellow brothers here on Earth?" I cried out for help and laid down my weapon of hate, war, and destruction, and these words rang within consciousness, which I will share for all to hear: "Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me!"—Decie Hook ================================================= LOVE IN ACTION Many of you have received the Academy's event flyer and/or e-flashes promoting Unarius' participation as an exhibitor/presenter at the San Diego Mind, Body, Spirit Expo in March and at three Psychic & Healing Arts Fairs that were held in the San Diego County cities of Carlsbad, El Cajon, and Escondido in April and May. A week after each of the psychic fairs, the Academy scheduled an introductory workshop in past-life therapy in the community where the fair was held, utilizing local libraries for meeting space. These events and workshops have provided a fantastic opportunity to meet new people who are interested in the Unarius teachings—an exciting step forward for Unarius! As you read the comments below of students who have participated in this community outreach, as well as the comments of people who are discovering Unarius for the first time (this lifetime!), you will surely feel their enthusiasm. * * * Sharing Unarius with new people has always been a great joy. As I was handing out literature at the end of the lecture given at the Escondido Psychic Fair, one woman stopped to ask me questions about what she had just heard. She was very glad to hear that Unarius teaches how to get "your answers yourself" rather than relying on something or someone outside of yourself. As she quested more and more about Unarius, I could sense her excitement rising as we kept talking. My favorite comment from her was, "You mean I don't have to pay someone $2,000 to complete a course with Unarius?" It was wonderful to see the light in people's eyes and hear their excitement when they were truly searching for information and tools to help themselves and suddenly grasped what Unarius has to offer!—Lani Calvert ================================================= UNARIUS TO AIR ON GERMAN TELEVISION Several representatives from Unarius met with a German film crew on April 16 at the Academy in El Cajon. The filming was for a segment of a travelogue program, "Inside the U.S.A.," which airs on a German television channel. This was a different experience for the Unariuns who were involved, as the crew was extremely interested in visually creative shots rather than spending a lot of time interviewing people. A trip to the future landing site in Jamul provided a picturesque
backdrop for the interview about the landing of starships on planet
Earth. After the interview, the film crew expressed their appreciation
for the positive perspective provided about the current global situation
and our future. Later in the day, the crew filmed the Unarius
choralliers, And the Angels Sing, during the evening class session. They
really had a special treat as they sang wonderfully that evening. All
who heard them felt very transcended with their music and attunement
